This tool will download and update the correct Linksys AE3000 driver versions automatically, protecting you against installing the wrong AE3000 drivers. About The Author: Jay Geater is the President and CEO of Solvusoft Corporation, a global software company focused on providing innovative utility software. Linksys AE3000 IEEE 802.11n USB WiFi Adapter Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars, based on 0 reviews When I upgraded to Win 10 from Win 7 I found that my WiFi adapter was not compatible. Linksys Ae3000 Driver Download for Windows 7, 8, 10 the system is available with our file is taken from the official website https://www.linksys.com. Linksys doesn't provide a Win8 driver, only a Win7 one. Using the Win7 self-installer on a Win8 system simply will NOT work as the device will never be detected. The only reliable way of installing the drivers is to extract the Win7 drivers into a temporary directory, and then manually install it by pointing Win8 to it using Device Manager. Linksys AE3000 drivers are tiny programs that enable your Wireless USB Network Adapter hardware to communicate with your operating system software. Maintaining updated Linksys AE3000 software prevents crashes and maximizes hardware and system performance.

Would it be possible to have support for the Linksys AE3000 drivers & firmware? It has a Ralink RT3573 chip. I have attempted to compile the provided drivers ( 20120911_RT3573_Linux_STA_v2.5.0.0_Rev1_DPO.tar.bz2 ) from Mediatek/Ralink but it complains about not being able to access the build file within the kernel headers. I appreciate any insight. Thanks! |

Sorry, the policy is not to pull in out-of-tree drivers without a compelling reason. You can lobby for it to get included in the upstream linux kernel, and in time the Pi will get this. |

Does this apply to the standard kernel as well as the rpi-update kernels? How would one lobby to have it happen? Any pointers how to compile the drivers for the Pi if this is a dead end? |

Have you read this: http://elinux.org/RPi_Kernel_Compilation It's probably simplest to build the kernel first, then add the extra module. |
